Job description

Our Client in the Financial Industry are searching their next Accounting Analyst to take on the day-to-day operational financial activities such as accounts receivable and accounts payable management, monthly reconciliations, and vendor coordination.

The client is located in Oakville, with a flexible hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the monthly financial reporting processes to support the financial
  • reporting infrastructure

  • Processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices for accounts payable and receivable
  • Coding of transactions in ERP system (payables, receivables, credit cards, bank
  • reconciliations, online expenses etc.)

  • Collaborates with the Accounting Manager to identify weaknesses in current
  • processes and systems

  • Performs procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information
  • Supports the Accounting Manager to develop business processes to support
  • management information needs, decisions, and control frameworks

    Qualifications

    Accounting and Finance Degree

    ERP Experience

    Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

    Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills

    Proficient in managing day-to-day financial activities such as processing AP and AR invoices, bank reconciliations, etc.

    Ambitious, not afraid to take on more responsibilities as they come.
