Receiving Clerk Temp

Summary:

Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving warehouse inventory control replenishment stocking and maintenance/housekeeping departments

Responsibilities:

• Systematically receive P.O.s that come into the building
• Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
• Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
• Perform tasks including folding repackaging sorting facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Cabelas Canada product
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing hanging merchandise
• Conduct floor checks including cleaning updates to pricing and signage inventory verification of min/max settings ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
• Customer service oriented team player
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous positive and professional manner
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise
• Steel toes work boots are required
• Must be able to obtain a PAL license
