Retail Supervisor – Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS)

Imagine the excitement of supervising a retail store overseas for six months, serving Canadian Armed Forces and partner nations. This role contributes to morale and welfare by delivering retail services and supporting recreational activities.

THE ROLE

The Retail Supervisor leads and manages a retail team in a dynamic, deployed environment, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the retail team and store operations.
• Enforce health, hygiene, safety, and security standards and programs.
• Prepare regular cash audits and perform periodic reconciliation of deposits.
• Authorize refunds, voids, and returns, and manage keys, safes, and access codes.
• Ensure distribution of merchandise, maintain adequate stock levels, and conduct effective monthly inventory.
• Manage contracts, understand financial statements, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Implement and maintain loss prevention controls.
• Support morale by assisting with recreational activities and events.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

Experience

Location : St. John's, NL – On site.

Salary : $85,180 to $94,440 per year.

Employment : Full time, Term or contract.

Start date : As soon as possible.
