Summary
The Procurement Program Manager drives operational excellence across Clio’s global procurement ecosystem. This role leads cross‑functional initiatives that enhance procurement strategy, compliance, spend visibility, and process automation. Partnering with Finance, Legal, IT, and business units, the Program Manager builds scalable frameworks, leverages analytics, and implements technology solutions that optimize supplier management and reduce risk. The role is based at one of Clio’s hub locations (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto) and requires on‑site presence twice per week on Anchor Days, with occasional travel to partner or supplier sites.
What you’ll work on
Data, Reporting & Analytics (30%)
- Develop real‑time procurement dashboards and KPIs that monitor procurement cycle times, contract spend, renewals, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Leverage data to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision‑making.
- Establish benchmarking frameworks to measure procurement maturity and value creation.
Process Improvement & Technology Implementation (30%)
Lead continuous improvement projects to streamline procurement workflows and enhance the user experience.Implement and optimize procurement technologies (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, Workday).Partner with Finance Systems teams to manage system integration activities, including overseeing API development and testing with ERP and finance platforms.Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort, touchpoints, and transaction costs.Partner with IT and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.Capture lessons learned, document best practices, and embed continuous feedback loops across teams.Procurement Governance & Policy Optimization (20%)
Design and manage procurement governance frameworks ensuring alignment with business strategy, financial controls, and compliance standards.Partner with Legal, Risk, and Finance to maintain policies and procedures that balance agility with regulatory and audit requirements.Deliver internal training and change management to drive adoption of procurement best practices.Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting (15%)
Partner with leadership on annual planning, departmental OKRs, and strategic sourcing initiatives.Oversee budget development, forecasting, and performance reporting for Procurement Operations.Build business cases and ROI models for new tools, systems, and category strategies.Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration (5%)
Provide mentorship and direction to project teams and analysts.Build strong partnerships across Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations to achieve shared objectives.What you bring
6+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing operations, or program management within the tech, SaaS, or high‑growth corporate environment.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.MBA or equivalent experience preferred.Proven track record of leading enterprise‑wide process improvements, governance frameworks, and technology implementations.Strong understanding of procurement systems, and supplier management.Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.Advanced Excel and Power BI / Tableau skills; ERP or P2P systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Workday, Oracle).Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder‑management capabilities.Project management experience (PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification an asset).Benefits and Compensation
Expected salary range : CAD 99,600 – 117,100 – 134,600. Compensation includes competitive base pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
