The Lead Advisor, Vendor Management will be part of the supply chain team and accountable to develop, plan, lead and execute corporate wide vendor performance management to achieve and exceed the financial groups businessobjectivesandsavingsgoals.

For this role, experience in one or multiple of the following categories and subcategories is required :
- HumanResources&ProfessionalServices(includingbutnotlimitedtoContingentTalent,Consulting,HR services, Pension, Recruitment, and Training),
- IT, Technology, Digital Services.
- Leasing & Supplies Procurement (including, but not limited to procurement / Leasing equipment and space, ProjectPlanning / ManagementSuppliers,Construction / ThirdPartyContractors,Furniture,Facilities,MROand other related categories),
- Physical Security & Safety (including but not limited to procurement of System and Implementation Suppliers)
Responsabilities
Business Delivery, Performance Management and Operational Excellence
- Developmentanddeliveryofcomprehensivevendormanagementprocesses,performancescorecardsandrisk management, advisory services to meet timelines and achieve departmental and conformity goals.
- Bringawarenesstomarketleadingprocessesandpractices;tomitigaterisk,todriveinnovation,andtomaximize overall business relationship with assigned critical suppliers.
- Maintain accurate and up to date reporting on governance status, progress and issues.
- Participateinoptimizationinitiatives.Drivecontinuousimprovementandinnovationopportunitiesbyidentifying, recommending, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to research competitive intelligence in vendor performance management.
- Developimprovementplansandensureslineofsightforseniormanagementthroughouttheprocessofkey initiatives.
Client and Relationship Management
- ThisrolewillPartnerandworkcollaborativelywithLinesofBusiness(LOBs),CorporateFunctions(Corporate), Risk Management and Suppliers to develop and implement innovative vendor performance management governance to achieve business and conformity objectives.
- Modelsthedeliveryofexceptionalcustomerservicethatbuildstrustthroughresponsive,accurate,consistent, knowledgeable and available services and support.·
- Preparationandpresentationofreportstoassociatedbusinessunits,reportingonkeymetricssuchasoverall performance, qualiy, business relationship, risk management with key suppliers with the assigned portfolios.
Risk Management and Control
- Be accountable for complying with the financial group's risk appetite framework and ensuring risk taking activities remain within agreed limits and adhere to applicable corporate policies, operating directives, laws and regulations (including risk, compliance and audit).
- Identify potential risk situations / impacts and make recommendations or escalate to your manager.
- Ensure contingency plans are followed through and given appropriate line of sight and reporting per guidelines.
- Maintain an understanding of regulatory, policy, procedural and other relevant business changes as it relates to supplier engagements and conformity.
- Ensure adherence to all aspects of LBC Code of Conduct and Ethics Corporate Policy and assist in implementing the Vendor Ethics and Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
- University Degree in business administration or relevant field
- Minimum8 years in procurement in Procurment or Vendor Management
- Any other combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Bilingualism (written & verbal), French / English*
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to present vendor management debriefs and dashboard, analytical techniques and solutions to all levels in the organization.
- Able to work creatively and collaboratively with stakeholders and suppliers to identify innovative solutions. As various assignments are carried out with considerable independence, the incumbent is expected to take initiative in planning and seeking out information.
- Good communication skills and business relationship management.
- Writing skills for contractual clauses and statement of works.
- Experience in financial industry (asset).
- Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
