Job Title : Application Support Analyst
Location : Toronto, ON & Halifax, NS
Duration : + Months
Daily Responsibilities :
- Will be supporting software releases and evaluations
- Open to be on-call sometimes
- Identify the root cause for job failures and remediate them
- Monitor via ITRS Dashboard to ensure health of Application.
- Ensure timely delivery to downstream consumers (Front Office).
- Drive improved stability and higher quality of data delivered to Front Office.
- Document new issues that occur and maintain / enhance existing documentation to ensure consistent steps performed for known issues.
- Coordinate between several groups to remediate issues (Support, Development, Analytics, Quants).
- Investigate pricing failures and resolve issues utilization various skills including SQL, Unix, Windows.

Self-motivated analytical mindset to drive issues to completion to go through multiple teamsFinancial experience / knowledge working in a bankStrong scripting language experience - Powershell scripting is what they useOther scripting languages ok, Powershell preferredSQL language (any DB language but SQL Server / Oracle preferred)Windows Server, ability to deep-dive into issuesITRS Geneos Monitoring Software – or any monitoring toolJob Scheduler experience ( BMC Control-M, Cron, etc.) – or any scheduler toolPlusses :
