Your day-to-day will look like :

  • Works safely around powered mobile equipment – understands right of way, blind spots, & pinch points
  • Understands hand signals to properly communicate with equipment operators
  • Acts as a spotter for powered mobile equipment, when properly trained
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions and confined spaces, if required
  • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
  • Follows basic verbal instructions, and respects the chain of command
  • Organizes tools and keeps pathways clear
  • Assists crew members in placing signage / barricades to protect designated work zones
  • Interacts with public in courteous, professional manner

You have the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills :

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 6 months experience is preferred.
  • Must have reliable form of transportation to get to job site

    • Technical Skills :

  • Understands Hazard Assessments and Safe Work Procedures
  • Identifies tools and understands their function
  • Set up pumps & sumps
  • Mix grout
  • Understand site layout
  • Aware of encroachment distances to overhead & underground utilities
  • Install fences

    • Interpersonal Skills :

  • Great attitude towards safety
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to excel in a team atmosphere
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Results-oriented
