What you will do

  • Assist lawyers in preparing for applications.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and questioning requests.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, questioning, and court appearances.
  • Assist with the estate administration process.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the legal team.
  • Assist with the administration of trusts.

What you bring to the role

A successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviours :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in estate litigation (general litigation experience is acceptable).
  • Understanding of estate law and probate procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
