On behalf of our client in the Automotive Sector, PROCOM is looking for Advertising Budget Analyst for their Advertising department

Advertising Budget Analyst (Advertising)  – Job Description

Financial, Budget Management, Advertising Specialist works collaboratively with the Advertising team to support the development of advertising materials that will assist in promoting the brand to both new and current customers. You will support managing an advertising budget of up to $20M+

By establishing and maintaining key relationships, the Specialist, Advertising works closely with key internal stakeholders and outside vendors on the content development and layout of marketing communications

The incumbent will be well versed in product and communication strategies to ensure all advertising content is consistent and relevant for public and dealer consumption

A significant focus of the Specialist, Advertising role will be concentrated on a variety of administrative tasks such as ongoing BCR tracking, monthly billing and forecasting, coordinating vehicles for shoots, and executing / attending events as it pertains to their projects

Process all department invoices monthly, and work closely with vendors to ensure invoices are received in a timely manner

Maintain a monthly tracking sheet of invoices

Generate budget exceptions, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to be approved for new projects and coordinate related accruals

Prepare monthly forecasting summary to help ensure budgets / spending are on track with projected forecasts and to ensure estimates and invoices are reconciled

Maintain the Advertising department’s fleet of vehicles

Facilitate ordering new cars for shoots, license / PDI, shipping, repairs and returning vehicles to portfolio

Provide Brand Identity (BI) consultation on a project-by-project basis for various  departments. Advertising / Campaign Management

Act as a liaison between Canada, Inc. Advertising and other internal teams to share and disseminate pertinent information

Participate and attend in general, agency status and creative meetings as required

Follow up on action items that arise from meeting discussions, helping to ensure short-term projects are progressing

With the support of the department Manager, lead and manage to completion, assigned projects and smaller campaigns from briefing through creative, keeping the Manager abreast of progress

Respond to dealer requests for advertising materials, inquiries, and consultation

Coordinate and / or develop presentations and communications for the advertising group as required

Support and participate at National Marketing events, where required

This will involve setup / tear down and ensuring is represented accurately and the event runs smoothly

Collateral Development for Assigned Carlines

Contribute to the project management and development of various collateral materials including new model brochures, showroom point-of-purchase material and Ad-hoc material as required, ensuring all timelines, budgets and BI Guideline requirements are met

Accountable for checking and proofreading all content to verify accuracy from a product and communications standpoint

Coordinate with internal stakeholders where necessary to ensure accuracy of information

Ensure all new model brochures are available before start of sale (printed & online) and regularly check the inventory of printed material to ensure there is sufficient stock to fulfil dealer orders Research and Reporting

Contribute to the development of campaign post reports and monthly advertising summaries to monitor advertising campaign performance

Work closely with the department Managers, agency partners, and internal stakeholders to gather and distribute reports, as necessary

Coordinate, collect, and distribute model or brand research from vendors to appropriate stakeholders as required and / or for new model agency brief documents

Proven advertising experience (min. 3 years) working in an agency or marketing environment

Post-secondary degree or diploma, marketing major (or equivalent)

Web and social media savvy

Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Valid driver’s license

Advertising Specialist - Nice to Have Skills

Automotive experience an asset

Bilingualism (English and French) would be a definite asset
