Elder Care Provider

Caregiver / Companion Position (Flexible Hours – LMIA Support Available)

• LOCATION : FT MCMURRAY, AB*

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver / companion to support a loved family member in a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment. This position is flexible and can be offered as full-time or part-time, depending on availability and fit.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, including bathing (assistance with washing back and hair)
• Administer medications as directed
• Support meal preparation, light baking, and daily activities
• Encourage and assist with daily exercise and outings
• Monitor and support skin integrity and overall well-being
• Promote a positive, motivating environment that enhances quality of life

Care Recipient Overview

• Mobile and ambulatory with the use of a walker
• Requires assistance primarily for personal care and supervision
• Benefits greatly from encouragement to remain active, social, and engaged in daily routines

Ideal Candidate

• Patient, attentive, and dependable
• Brings a positive, motivating attitude
• Enjoys engaging in activities such as baking, meal prep, and outings
• Committed to providing respectful, person-centred care

Compensation & Eligibility

• 15 per hour
• LMIA support is available for eligible candidates, in accordance with Canadian employment and immigration regulations
