Manager of Advertising
Our client is searching for the Manager of Advertising to join their team. This role will be responsible for implementing a streamlined approach for advertising distributed products, identifying the best mix of media channels and best practices for tactical execution. A successful candidate will guide Account Managers on how to deliver effective advertising to the right target audience at the right time.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Ensure job duties and responsibilities are being met by the Advertising Account Managers
- Provide feedback and counsel to the account team and identifying relevant training opportunities
- Conduct performance evaluations using key metrics
- Assist with identifying target audiences and understand their behaviour, habits, and how they consume media
- Identify business objectives and KPI’s for the company as a whole and ensure alignment across all distributed divisions
- Ensure best practices are implemented for campaign launch strategies, tradeshow attendance, media selection and stakeholder engagement
- Provide strategic oversight on supporting and promotional collateral
- Proactively keep abreast of industry trends and share knowledge with the team
- Act as a positive role model through example
- Mentor the team to maximize individuals’ growth, and harness the strengths and opportunities of each team member
- Oversee larger scope projects and facilitate collaboration where necessary
- Ensure budgets and reporting are well documented and tracked
- Recruitment, onboarding and providing feedback for coaching at key milestones
Your strengths include :
3+ years as a Team Lead, Manager or Account Executive or DirectorUniversity or College Degree or Diploma in Media, Marketing, Business, Project Management or a related field is preferredDemonstrated supervisory, delegation and strong mentorship skillsProven track record of client and team successSolid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progressKnowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metricsOutstanding organizational and leadership skillsBroad knowledge of media channels and campaign evaluation metricsDesire to work with team members to continually improve resultsProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteAgency experience is an asset
