This position is Temporary
Monday to Friday 8 hours / day
Hourly Rate = $24.83

QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include, but are not limited to, the following :

Follow all safety rules.

Experience as a Shipping Loader Operator at Westlake Pipe & Fittings or equivalent.

Demonstrated a good working knowledge of safe and efficient truck-loading procedures is an asset.

A good understanding of various Pipe and Electrical Fittings SKU’s with regard to the yard / warehouse locations.

Ability to process all relevant Shipping documentation and to fulfill customers orders according to timelines / deadlines provided.

Must have the ability to work staggered shift schedule as per Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Maintain a valid BC Driver’s License and appropriate Forklift Certification.

Basic knowledge of computers skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud as this position is based in the shipping yard. May also result in exposure to outside elements.
