Responsibilities
1.Media Relations & Outreach :
- Establish and maintain relationships with top-tier North American media outlets (e.g., Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, CBC, Deadline).
- Organize and manage media interviews, press briefings, and exclusive company news releases.
- Secure consistent, positive media coverage to enhance brand visibility.
2.Brand Management :
Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns that align with the company’s vision and business objectives.Craft compelling press releases, articles, and brand narratives to showcase Union Film Group’s expertise.Monitor and analyze public sentiment, providing actionable insights for brand growth.3.Event Coordination :
Lead PR efforts for major events, including film premieres, industry panels, and promotional tours.Collaborate with internal teams to execute successful launches and press events.4.Digital Media Strategy :
Oversee social media channels to ensure alignment with the PR strategy, increasing engagement and follower growth.Partner with influencers and digital creators to amplify Union Film Group’s content reach.5.Crisis Management :
Develop and implement effective crisis communication plans to mitigate risks and maintain a positive public image.Serve as the primary spokesperson for media inquiries during sensitive situations.6.Internal Collaboration :
Work closely with production, marketing, and creative teams to synchronize PR efforts with ongoing projects.Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 5 years in public relations, preferably within the film, entertainment, or media industries.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.Skills :
Proven ability to secure high-profile media coverage.Strong writing and storytelling abilities for press releases and brand narratives.Advanced knowledge of social media platforms and PR tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Cision, Google Analytics).Crisis management expertise and problem-solving under pressure.Established relationships with major North American media outlets.Language : Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates (e.g., Mandarin) are highly preferred.What We Offer
