We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join BrokerLink and work out of our Woodstock or Ingersoll branch, in our Western Ontario region, on a Permanent FT Basis.

What the Role Entails :
Service Independent Business Unit accountsContributing to new business growth by selling new policies / writing new business to existing or new clients, quoting policies, reviewing renewals, and achieving growth targets.Quoting new business through referrals, cold calls, and introductory levels as well as through walk-in clients.Provide customers with prompt service by providing advice, help customers understand insurance, discuss customer concernsReview and provide processing instructions on all incoming commercial paperworkAssist with quotes to customers, write new business, review existing coverage and update customer file informationPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, issue insurance certificatesReview and provide processing instructions on endorsements, and follow up on paymentsCommunicate with Insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on customers behalf, negotiate renewal of terms, follow up with Adjusters on claims statusSource and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applicationsThe Successful candidate will have :
