Basic knowledge of construction systems and processes. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, process designs, and contracts. Familiarity with bills of materials and their application. Strong organizational skills to manage and document large volumes of information efficiently. High attention to detail with accuracy in documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project. Healthcare package RRSP Contributions Competitive salary

Currently we are hiring an MEP Estimator to join our team in Ontario, Canada
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Review tender documents to assess scope, risks, and requirements.
- Prepare material and subcontractor inquiries, selecting suitable vendors.
- Conduct site visits to identify risks and inform cost estimates.
- Collaborate in design development and attend design meetings.
- Develop analytical cost estimates including preliminaries and budgets.
- Evaluate and compare subcontractor quotations for selection.
- Manage risk assessment and maintain the tender Risk Register.
- Implement value engineering to optimize costs during design.
- Participate in pre-qualification, tender interviews, and presentations.
- Ensure seamless project handover to the site team post-tender.
