Our Engineering Design Organization (EDO) is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to tackle the role of Engineering Graduate Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) based out of one of our Southern Ontario offices : Waterloo , Mississauga , Markham , Toronto , or Whitby .

As a member of the multidiscipline design team, you will work on a broad spectrum of I&C design aspects for multiple projects including new installations and upgrades of existing systems.

The successful candidate will be accountable for :
- Assistance in preparation of drawing packages for projects of varying scale.
- Assistance in preparation of documentation including device specifications, device lists, bill-of-materials, technical reports, etc.
- Assistance with proposal requests and write ups.
- Coordination with other disciplines (process, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, .
- Ensuring compliance with customer specifications and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Delivering work within assignment scope, on time and budget.
- Complying with GHD’s Health and Safety policy and procedures, and applicable project plans.
- Developing understanding of the discipline by researching regulatory requirements and developments in the technical field.

- Participation in the Young Professionals group in the Region, and Graduate Development Program activities.
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 1+ years’ relevant internship experience. Sound understanding of Engineering principles, and an aptitude for design development.
- Working knowledge of drafting tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and team playing skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written / oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong desire to learn.
- Working towards Registered member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
- A valid driver’s license.
