Forklift Operator / Labourer

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator / Labourer to join our team. This role involves operating forklifts, performing general labour tasks, and loading / unloading trucks in both indoor and outdoor environments. The successful candidate must be physically fit, adaptable, and willing to perform a variety of tasks as directed by management.Working Hours : Monday to Thursday : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PMFriday : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PMMust be available for overtime as required.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to safely load and unload trucks, trailers, and other delivery vehicles.Transport materials between warehouse, storage yards, and loading areas.Perform general labour duties such as lifting, sorting, stacking, cleaning, and site maintenance.Assist with inventory organization and material handling.Conduct routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment indoors and outdoors.Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies.Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Valid forklift license / certification.Previous experience operating forklifts and loading / unloading trucks.Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items (up to [e.g., 50 lbs]).Strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork.Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.Must have reliable transportation - no public transit available.Working Conditions : Work performed in both indoor (warehouse) and outdoor (yard / dock) environments.Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.Requires use of PPE and adherence to all safety procedures.May involve standing, lifting, and operating equipment for extended periods.
