Job Description

As a valuable member of the  RS  team, you will deliver winning food and beverage service to our guests at all times by living our Vision and Values.

  • Set dining room for service.
  • Prepare for service; polish cutlery / glassware, stock side stations, etc.
  • Provide friendly and informed response to questions regarding menu and wine selections.
  • Deliver timely food and beverage service according to specific restaurant standards as advised by the Service Manager.
  • Advice on and promote items on the menu.
  • Order items with speed and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
  • Run Food efficiently and with a sense of urgency.
  • Removal of all dirty dishes, glassware and cutlery.
  • Replenish / stock work area.
  • Quick and detailed completion of assigned side duties.
  • Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies.
  • Follow all MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a high volume restaurant environment.
  • Smart Serve certification required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of POS systems an asset.
  • Work well under pressure; balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
