Job Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Develop menu plans and ensure all food products meet established quality and consistency standards
• Supervise activities of cooks and kitchen workers
• Supervise and guide kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and plating of menu items to ensure consistency and presentation standards
• Evaluate and estimate food service operating costs and staffing needs for effective cost control
• Keep records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
• Coordinate the purchase, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment to ensure smooth daily operations
• Recruit, onboard, and train kitchen staff to maintain a skilled and efficient team

Job requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
