ETL / BI Developer

We are in search of an ETL / BI Developer to join our team located in Mississauga Ontario. As part of the team, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining ETL processes, integrating data from different sources into data warehouses and BI systems, and working within the Azure Data Factory framework. You will also play a crucial role in supporting the data migration process related to M& A activities.

Responsibilities :

• Take charge of the development and maintenance of ETL processes to seamlessly integrate data from a variety of sources into data warehouses and BI systems
• Design and optimize data models for use in business intelligence and analytics applications
• Implement and maintain data transformation processes to ensure accurate reporting and analysis
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements for data solutions
• Actively support the M& A data migration process, preparing and consolidating data to be imported into business applications
• Integrate data sourced from M& A activities into the data warehouse to facilitate consolidated analytics
• Utilize the Azure Data Factory framework to manage data integration and transformation
• Manage data lake and warehouse artifacts using TimeXtender or similar ETL toolsets
• Leverage Azure Synapse and / or Fabric Link to enable near real-time data integration and enhance the performance of analytics and reporting across cloud systems
• Troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues related to ETL jobs and BI reports
• Assist in the development of visualizations in Power BI as and when required.
• Job Title : ETL / BI Developer
• At least 5 years of experience in ETL / BI development
• Proficient in ETL - Extract Transform Load methodologies
• Proficient in Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake
• Proficient in Azure Databricks, Azure Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure and Windows Azure
• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI for data visualization and reporting
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) is desirable
