4. What Will You Do?
As a Law Clerk , you will be an integral part of the legal team, providing comprehensive support in the execution and management of legal and franchise agreements, as well as franchisee resale and renewal transactions.
Key Responsibilities :
Draft, review, edit, and proofread franchise and legal documents including disclosure documents and franchise agreementsCoordinate onboarding documentation and manage legal disclosure processes for new franchise candidatesOversee franchise resale / transfer transactions, including condition satisfaction, inter-departmental liaison, lease summaries, and document executionManage franchise agreement renewals by liaising with departments, preparing legal documentation, and overseeing executionOrganize and maintain digital / physical legal files and correspondenceAttend cross-departmental meetings and status callsEnsure accurate and timely execution of all legal agreementsPerform other legal administrative duties as required5. What Do You Bring?
Proven experience as a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant, preferably within franchising or corporate lawStrong knowledge of legal documentation and transactional processesExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyProficiency with legal document management tools and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
