Are you passionate about fitness and wellness? Do you have a strong customer service mindset and love helping others achieve their fitness goals? The City of Leduc is seeking a dedicated Fitness Center Attendant to join our Wellness Services team at the Leduc Recreation Center.

Key Responsibilities

What is the Opportunity?

In this role, you will report directly to theFitness Centre Supervisorandbe responsible forproviding a welcoming, supportive environment for patrons of the Fitness Center. You willassistwith the safe and proper use of fitness equipment, foster positive relationships with members, ensurehigh standardsof safety, cleanliness, and customer service,assistwith youth engagement, and perform closing duties to set the following opening shift up for success.

What will you do?

As a Fitness Center Attendant, you will :

• Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming patrons andassistingwith their fitness goals
• Educate members on the proper use of fitness equipment and ensure safety standards are met
• Perform routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe and clean environment
• Oversee the fitness center desk, providing wristbands to members, checking membership status, and verifying matinee memberships
• Stay informed about group fitness class schedules andassistparticipants as needed
• Build positive and lasting relationships with fitness members to encourage their success and satisfaction
• Activelycontributeto a positive, energetic, and motivating atmosphere within the fitness center
