The Opportunity
Reporting to the Supervisor-Planning and Development this position is primarily responsible for specialized administration and technical review in the processing of applications for development in accordance with the St. John’s Development Regulations.
Accountabilities
Qualifications
Education – High School Diploma, Three (3) Year College Diploma in Engineering Technology from a recognized educational institution or equivalent.
Relevant Experience – Five (5) years cumulative experience working as a Development Officer I.
Working Conditions
Primarily office work, position will require minimal site inspections.
Hours of Work
Monday - Friday 9am - 4 : 30pm (33.75 hour work week)
Union Requirement
Applicants must be members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 1289, or should be prepared to join the Union immediately upon appointment.
