ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize is recruiting Journeyman Millwrights to maintain, improve, and optimize the mechanical operations for our Cement Plant located in Richmond, BC. This is a permanent, full time, hourly opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Maintain and repair heavy industrial equipment, including rotary cement kilns, ball mills, large gearsets, crushers, and compressors
• Service and troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical systems : fans, blowers, conveyors (belt, bucket, screw, pneumatic), and vibrating screens
• Repair and maintain gearboxes, clutches, pumps, and other rotating equipment
• Respond urgently to equipment breakdowns while upholding safety and product quality standards
• Perform regular inspections to prioritize preventative maintenance over reactive repairs
• Collaborate with team members and work independently to meet maintenance and operational goals
• Communicate with operations, delivery teams, and management to resolve mechanical and process issues
• Maintain accountability by keeping managers informed and owning outcomes of decisions
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement aimed at maintaining top-tier facility performance
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education : Journeyman

Required Training / Certifications : Journeyperson status. Preference to dual ticketed Required Work Experience : Minimum two (2) years heavy manufacturing / mining experience.
