Desktop Auto Adjuster - Commercial & Personal Lines (Remote or Hybrid - Markham ON)

We are currently looking to add experiencedDesktop Auto Adjusters to our team! This role can work remotely or in a hybrid work model.

To succeed in this role the ideal candidate should have experience in Commercial & Personal Auto Property Damage claims.

Qualifications & Experience :

A college diploma or a university degree is an asset

Minimum of 3 years experience adjusting Commercial and Personal lines auto claims. Long- Haul Trucking an asset (but not required)

Ability to handle or oversee moderate to complex claims

Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively

Excellent customer service skills

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

A friendly and positive attitude

Excellent time management skills

Knowledge of the provincial legislation governing auto insurance

Great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Driven with self-initiation and good problem-solving skills

Customer focused and results driven

Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel PP)

Adjusters license or have completed a minimum of the first fourCIP courses as follows :

C11 : Principles and Practice of Insurance

C12 : Insurance on Property

C13 : Insurance Against LiabilityPart 1

C14 : Automobile InsurancePart 1

C110 : Essentials of Loss Adjusting

Advanced communication skills including :

Effective written skills including those of a technical nature.

Effective oral skills including listening interviewing negotiating must be able to flex style appropriate to audience.

Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner.

Proactive and positive approach to customer service ensuring that all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner.

Strong interpersonal skills allowing you to effectively deal with conflict and difficult situations.

Strong commitment to ongoing education and learning.
