I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in industrial equipment solutions based in Laval, Quebec, looking for an Engineering Project Manager (40h / week).

Your Role

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Leading the management of projects focused on the design, optimization, and implementation of industrial equipment for various clients.
  • Developing technical specifications and coordinating project requirements with different technical teams.
  • Overseeing and coordinating all stages of projects from development to production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Organizing regular follow-up and update meetings with internal teams and stakeholders to align on objectives.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining complete and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, specifications, and progress reports.
  • Promoting and implementing health and safety policies within the teams.

Your Profile

Professional Skills :

  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments, including production, quality, and procurement.
  • Our ideal candidate has solid experience in engineering and project management in an industrial setting. They excel in a manufacturing environment and ensure smooth communication between technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience in industrial project management with conveyor systems, cap feeders, packaging lines or other similar industrial equipment
  • PMP certification (asset) and proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) and design standards.
  • Proficiency in both French and English, for communication with international clients and partners.
  • Travel outside of Canada may be required for this position. The candidate's status must allow him to travel without hindrance outside Canada.
