Job Overview
Our client, a leading global consumer brand, is seeking a Front-End Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to support the design, enhancement, and continuous optimization of their e-commerce storefront. This role focuses on front-end development within the SFCC ecosystem, delivering high-quality, responsive, and performance-driven customer experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end components for Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefronts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement and customize SFCC Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA), including templates, UI components, and assets
- Translate UX/UI designs into responsive, accessible, and high-performance e-commerce experiences
- Collaborate with back-end SFCC developers, designers, and product teams to deliver new features and enhancements
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and adherence to front-end best practices
- Support ongoing releases, hotfixes, and deployment cycles within the SFCC environment
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to reusable front-end patterns and standards
- Troubleshoot storefront behavior, styling, and client-side logic issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
Required
- 4–6+ years of professional front-end development experience, preferably in e-commerce environments
- Hands-on experience developing front-end solutions in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with SFRA, ISML templates, and client-side controllers
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, Git, and deployment workflows
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured front-end code
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within Agile teams
Preferred
- Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices
- Exposure to headless or composable commerce architectures
- Prior experience supporting global consumer or retail brands
