Our client, a top 5 bank, is seeking a Reconciliations Clerk for a 6-month contract in Toronto. This is a hybrid role, with onsite work required twice a week.
There is a high possibility of contract extension.
Pay rate : $20.00 per hour
Working hours : Monday-Friday, 9 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm

Responsibilities
The position reports to the Team Manager, Reconciliations and is responsible for :
- Performing all daily processing activities for more complex and advanced reconciliations, ensuring the data reconciled was complete and accurate, and follow up on any issues with data delivery.
- Identify patterns where manual matching is occurring and advance ideas to build automation rules where possible.
- Identify risk and follow up on aged and high value breaks and escalate to ensure prompt resolution.
- Ensuring that break escalations are completed and kept on record.
- Escalating processing issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
- Working with project teams, to develop, maintain and test reconciliation between multiple sources of data.
- Adhere to Service Level Agreements and internal service delivery standards.
- Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, mitigate risks and support process improvement initiatives.
- Assisting in analysis, development, testing and implementation of operating and process improvements.
- Ensuring that reconciliation procedure documentation is prepared, complete, and accurate and properly reflects ongoing reconciliation activities.
