Information Technology Project Manager

Opportunity Details

LeverageTek is actively seeking an IT Project Manager for a 5-month part-time contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Remote. Must be able to work MST Timezone.

Key Tasks

• Providing project oversight and coordination for successful delivery of projects
• Managing delivery objectives (desired value outcomes, financial and deliverable objectives) for all projects and coordinating cross project dependencies
• Interacting and managing the client for successful project(s) delivery
• Managing weekly / monthly status reports for the project(s) and overall project performance dashboard
• Ensuring that both client and the team (including partners) technical standards, mandatory processes and guidelines are followed

Key Qualifications

• Experience leading Co-Management, MS Autopilot, MS Intune, VPro type projects
• Strong technical PM with experience in implementing some of the Microsoft products
• OCM experience is mandatory

Qualifications

• A technical PM that has experience with deploying some of the Microsoft suite of products
• Experience managing and implementing process change. Educating the customer in helping how these changes impact them
• Experience navigating competing priorities and deadlines on complex or sensitive projects, including developing and maintaining project documents and presenting in an executive setting
• Ability to build good relationships, to assign, coordinate and manage the project activities of team members

Assets

• Experience in Agile teams is an asset
• Completed training in project management such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile Scrum Master
• Project Management certification is an asset such as PMP or PRINCE2
