Position : Remote Payroll Manager - US and CAD Experience Required Location : 100% Remote (Must be in Canada to apply)Salary : Up to $140K, based on experienceType : Full-timeAre you a seasoned Payroll Manager with experience managing both US and Canadian payroll? Do you thrive in high-volume payroll environments, overseeing union and non-union processes, while ensuring full compliance with tax laws and labor regulations? If so, this is the opportunity for you!We're looking for a Remote Payroll Manager to join our clients' team and oversee payroll operations for both our US and Canadian entities. This is a key leadership role where you'll ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee wages, benefits, tax filings, and more, while managing a high-performing team.Why apply?- 100% Remote : Work from anywhere in Canada with flexible work options.- Competitive Salary : Earn up to $140K, based on experience.- Comprehensive Benefits : Full benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and more.- Career Growth : Opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing global organization.Responsibilities : - Manage end-to-end payroll processes for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments. - Administer accurate deductions (taxes, benefits, retirement plans, garnishments, etc.). - Reconcile vacation accruals with different reports and ADP modules. - Oversee ADP master administration, including journal entries, accruals, and payroll adjustments. - Oversee payroll for unionized employees, ensuring compliance with union contracts and applicable laws. - Manage union wage scales, overtime, shift differentials, benefits, and contributions. - Support audits and ensure timely submission of certified payroll reports for government contractors and prevailing wage jobs. - Work with the Benefits team to ensure carrier invoices are processed and 401K fundings are completed. - Assist with annual 401K audits. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, and labor regulations. - Work closely with ADP and resolve payroll-related tax filing issues. - Serve as point of contact for the IRS and Revenu Quebec. - Manage year-end payroll processes (T4, RL-1, W-2 forms, 1099s, etc.). - Address employee payroll inquiries, ensuring timely resolutions. - Collaborate with HR to manage employee benefits and deductions.Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)- 8+ years of payroll processing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.- Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN).- Extensive knowledge of US (multiple states) and Canadian payroll, local tax laws, and labor regulations.- Previous high-volume union payroll experience is a must (120 employees in Canada, 700 in the US).- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure.- Knowledge of HR systems, timekeeping systems, and payroll software.If you have US and Canadian payroll experience and are ready for the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you!Apply now by sending your resume to alessandra.dipeco@quantum.ca for consideration.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
