Overview

We're seeking a dedicated Junior Programmer to join our dynamic software development team in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in building and refining software solutions that directly impact mental healthcare. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Software : Design, write, and deploy high-quality Python / Django applications integrated with Postgres.
  • Frontend Integration : Build responsive and efficient front-end applications using Next.js and React.
  • Containerization : Leverage Docker to create consistent, scalable deployment environments.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with product, QA, and operations teams while mentoring junior developers.
  • Project Management : Manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Process Improvement : Recommend enhancements, perform code reviews, and uphold robust testing practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience building async multi-tenant applications using Python or Typescript.
  • Familiarity with Next.js and React for frontend development is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of programming experience, with a strong drive to learn and develop further.
  • Basic understanding of databases and operating systems.
  • Quick adaptability to new software and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Docker for containerization.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proven ability to follow instructions.

  • Salary : $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
