TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Construction Planning Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field assessments and provide guidance on mechanical installations and construction methodologies.
- Deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Support the development of modularization strategies and construction execution plans.
- Contribute to contract formation, evaluation, and negotiation for large-scale scopes.
- Lead and coordinate construction support activities across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Prepare high-quality technical documentation, including execution plans, trade-off studies, and progress reports.
- Provide expert input during early works planning, including infrastructure development and site mobilization.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field.
- 15+ years of experience in industrial construction, including remote or high-altitude environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Comfortable using digital tools for construction analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience supporting early contractor involvement (ECI) and pre-construction planning.
- Prior experience in South American project environments is a strong asset.
- Strong background in mechanical systems, infrastructure development, and modular construction.
- Proficient in technical writing and presentation development.
- Proven ability to develop and support contracts exceeding $100M USD.
