The Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society is a highly specialized research, policy and solutions initiative at the University of Toronto that draws on world-class research expertise across multiple academic divisions; regional, national, and international academic partners; and commercial and community organizations and translates research into concrete solutions and policy guidance. We see that the world is in the midst of a massive technological revolution. Artificial intelligence, biotech and other emerging technologies are remaking entire industries and rewiring the way we live, work and organize society. Your opportunity :
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Associate Director, Marketing & Communications leads and coordinates the work of staff in the proactive development, enhancement and successful execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities, and events. Areas of focus include developing and enhancing the Institute’s Communications strategy and increasing overall awareness of the Schwartz Reisman Institute, including leveraging data tools, techniques, and strategies. The Associate Director Marketing & Communications, champions the development and promotion of a strong, cohesive, and effective brand identity while also ensuring the Institute’s objectives align with the University of Toronto’s broader strategic priorities.

USW Pay Band 15 $95,627. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $122,290. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation / Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
