Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including : experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Owner to oversee our Security Champions Program. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of security principles, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong aptitude for communication to keep teams engaged and effectively promote the program.
What you'll do here :
Oversee and coordinate the Security Champions Program within the company.
Work closely with development teams to incorporate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
Organize and lead regular meetings with security champions to track progress and address any issues.
Design and implement strategies to promote the program and ensure ongoing participant engagement.
Establish a recognition system to reward and encourage significant contributions from security champions.
Ensure effective and continuous communication between various stakeholders.
What you bring to the table :
At least 5 years of experience in information technology (IT).
Knowledge of information security principles and practices.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Proven ability to influence and motivate teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
