Job descriptionOwn transportation, public transportation does not match up with our shift start times Previous experience working in a carpentry role Education in a recognized Carpentry program is preferred Ability to speak and comprehend basic English Knowledge of basic tools and their uses An aptitude for reading blueprints Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division, & multiplication) Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a measuring tape Willing to follow company safety protocols Excellent attendance and a positive attitude Must be a team player, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Construction of form work
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wooden materials
- Work with resin, fiberglass, and body fill
- Sanding
- Other responsibilities as required
Requirements
As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Strescon Limited offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including health and dental coverage, life insurance and RRSP options. Starting hourly wage for this position is $24.70 and increases based on your experience.
