Sr. Payroll Administrator

About the Opportunity

• Execute bi-weekly payroll cycles across multiple business units, ensuring all employee earnings and deductions are calculated, validated, and finalized within scheduled deadlines

Manage statutory payroll obligations by preparing and submitting accurate tax remittances and compliance-based filings to relevant authorities

Coordinate delivery of annual employee tax statements in alignment with mandatory reporting timelines

Administer employer-sponsored retirement program contributions, ensuring values are calculated, transmitted, and recorded correctly

Produce payroll-related accounting entries during financial close periods, including earned-liability provisions and benefit cost allocations

Perform periodic validation and reconciliation of payroll and benefits ledger accounts to ensure data integrity and audit preparedness

Act as a key contributor during financial assurance engagements by compiling supporting schedules and responding to auditor requests

Provide responsive support to employee payroll questions, resolving inquiries with clarity and professionalism

About You

3+ years of full cycle payroll experience

ADP WFN and time and attendance is a strong asset, would like a Ceridian or similar if no ADP

Strong Excel required (pivot tables, vlookups)

Strong understanding of payroll-related statutory regulations

Union experience is an asset

PCP is an asset

Salary Range

$70,000 - $75,000 / year
