The College is currently seeking a dynamic and competent individual for the position of Instructor, Energy Storage Installation . Position Type : Casual

Location : Saint John

Salary : $33.85 to $52.08 per hour, based on the experience and level of post-secondary education.

Responsibilities

As part of the School of Professional and Part-time Learning and reporting to the Business Development Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and preparation of instructional materials and resources; establishing and managing a positive learning environment; instructing and evaluating students; building and sustaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders; as well as other related duties.

Specific instructional areas may include, but may not be limited to :

• Planning : Understand the principles and planning of energy storage projects
• Design : Learn system sizing, configuration, and performance considerations
• Installation : Gain practical skills for safe, code-compliant system installs
• Commissioning : Test and verify systems for operational readiness
• Decommissioning : Safely remove and recycle end-of-life battery systems
• Operations & Maintenance : Monitor, maintain, and optimize system performance

The successful incumbent will be willing and able to integrate technology and active student learning techniques into teaching practices.
