About the Opportunity

We are hiring Airport Security Officers to join our growing security team at the airport in Goffs, Nova Scotia .

As an Airport Security Officer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff, and airport operations. You will be responsible for performing access control , screening , surveillance , and incident response , while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• Full-time
• On-site at airport
• Shift-based schedule : 06 : 00–18 : 00 and 18 : 00–06 : 00
• Includes weekends , overnights , and holidays as required

Key Responsibilities :

As an Access Control Officer, you will be working as the main Security detail for Halifax Stanfield International Airport. You will ensure the safety & security of all passengers, workers and flight personnel by monitoring the Primary Security Line or PSL at various gates and access points. You will ensure that only authorized individuals have access to the restricted areas beyond the PSL.
