Email Marketing Coordinator

Proudly supporting more than 500 locations across Canada, our Client is the independent marketing firm for a parent company to six well established national retail brands.
Responsible for managing the strategic delivery of digital marketing and customer experience, our Client is also working to create growth opportunities within the Ecommerce platforms of each of the six national brands.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Marketing Operations, the Email Marketing Coordinator will work closely with a team of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery and appropriate personalization of all Email / Text campaigns and associated reporting for the 6 brands within the Enterprise via Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
The successful candidate will be a highly technical marketing professional with a passion for data, analytics and operations combined with an exceptional eye for detail.

Required Experience and Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically related to email marketing campaign management
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience working within Salesforce Marketing Cloud is strongly preferred, but demonstrated skill in MailChimp or others will be considered
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications as "Email Specialist", "Administrator" or "Developer" are considered significant assests
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, targeted campaigns from setup to list segmentation, personalization, and automation
- Previous experience with AMPScript, HTML and SQL are an asset
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and CASL legislation is required
- Comprehensive understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics, including but not limited to : open rate, CTR, CTOR, bounce rate, conversion rate, email sender score, deliverability, sender reputation
- Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Highly analytical with extensive experience using Google Analytics / GA4. Google Analytics Certification is definitely an asset, but not a requirement
- Proven ability to generate creative ideas and solve problems
- A strong focus on digital customer experience with a deep understanding as to how their contributions affect the overall customer journey
- Energetic, resourceful and able to react quickly and professionally in all situations
- Highly accountable with a proven ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business

Presently living in Winnipeg and able to work a full-time, hybrid schedule
Responsibilities of the Position
- Facilitate the set up and deliver of all email and SMS (text messages) campaigns for 6 unique businesses
- Execute the day-to-day technical operations associated with text and email campaigns via Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mobile Studio and Meta Platforms
- Manage, build, and target applicable data within Salesforce Marketing Cloud : create journeys, automatons, segments, data extensions and audiences
- Ensure all lists, tagging, automation and journeys etc. are accurate and maintained through the duration of campaigns, assessing for areas of optimization throughout their duration
- Evaluation and implementation of new technical tools, as required. IE : user acceptance testing
- Conduct regular A / B Testing to optimize delivery performance
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, both internally and externally with agencies; providing data-drive insights and recommendations, when required
- Prepare and analyze weekly email and customer acquisition reporting for delivery to leadership, including recommendations for improvement where needed
- Consolidate Marketing report development and delivery, and compile and share regular reports on behalf of the Marketing Team
- Other duties as required
