Lab Assistant I - Lab Support

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Lab Assistant I - Lab Support in Whitby, ON (On-site).

Responsibilities :

• Collects, sorts, and prepares dirty glassware for washing per in-house procedures.
• Operates and maintains glassware washers, dryers, and pipette washers.
• Inspects and restocks clean glassware; tracks and orders inventory as needed.
• Handles collection and disposal of lab waste, including hazardous materials (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Maintains lab cleanliness and inventories of supplies and glassware.
• Assists lab chemists as needed.
• Manages and scans lab documents, notebooks, logbooks, and ARFs; oversees off-site storage.
• May work rotating or alternating shifts as required.
