Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineer, Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing efficient manufacturing processes for complex machined components, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and our high standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop manufacturing processes for complex machined parts, encompassing turning, milling, mill-turn, grinding, heat treatment, and coating of exotic alloys, high-strength steels, and aluminum.
- Interpret and understand customer requirements from drawings, parts lists, and specifications, ensuring flawless execution in the completed part.
- Generate clear and concise technical documents, drawings, instructions, and specifications that drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to seamlessly create and launch new processes, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the design, build, and try-out of equipment within set timelines, working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Ensure the implementation of safety requirements in all duties, contributing to a secure and thriving work environment.
- Maintain project timelines, consistently meeting customer deadlines, and contribute to the AS9100 Quality Management System.
- Act as a liaison between Production and the Engineering group, providing valuable support in achieving common goals.
- Ensure all environmental, health, and safety aspects are considered in the development of new processes and equipment.
Qualifications : Education :
University degree / college diploma in mechanical, manufacturing, or process engineering, or equivalent industry experience.Experience / Knowledge :
Minimum 5 years of project management experience.Minimum 2 years of experience in an aerospace environment.AS9100 knowledge.Solid knowledge of ERP / MRP systems.Skills & Abilities :
