CACF Finance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to be the trusted finance partner for multiple fulfillment centers to drive cost controllership and provide business insights. This role will partner closely with a broad range of Finance and Business leaders in Operations, Process Engineering, PxT, etc. to drive an agenda of optimization, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This also involves focusing on developing and providing robust financial analysis and articulating insights in a clear and concise manner to influence business partners and help them in data-driven decision making.

A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to improve and create new measures for site productivity, innovate creative solutions utilizing large scale data mining tools, identifying high priority work / projects to maximize results for key stakeholders, and solve complex problems affecting company wide strategic decision-making.

  • Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements
  • Partnering with key stakeholders and ensuring that they have the most up to date and reliable information to help them make the best possible decisions
  • Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues
  • Collecting and analyzing quantitative data to develop relevant reports to allow business partners to take action quickly
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes
  • Take part in hiring, developing, and mentoring activities while you seek value, and leverage diverse perspectives
  • Contribute to work life harmony by becoming a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to new team members as an indicator of operations excellence

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related analytical field
  • 3+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field
  • Preferred qualifications

  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience in working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples : SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples : Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience in delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
  • Experience in communicating and presenting results effectively to senior leadership

  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses

    The base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 / year up to $110,100 / year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
