The Accountant Analyst is an integral role to operations at Gateway, managing month-end reports, account analysis, and budget forecasting.

You provide capital tracking, inventory control and validation, and interacts cross functionally with departments across the property.

But more than that, the Accountant Analyst is the backbone of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inputs data in accounting system and other associated integrated systems.
• Reviews and reconciles general ledger entries and allocations on a regular basis.
• Capital budget tracking of all spending accounts.
• Coordinates and conducts the analysis of various accounts as required.
• Prepares and completes month-end reconciliations and / or reports.
• Prepares worksheets for budgets and forecasts.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records and other office procedures.
• Organizational skills including the capacity to anticipate issues and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to effectively communicate in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
• Ability to build and maintain positive and trusting relationships.
• Computer Skills and the ability to learn and understand new systems.
• Customer service skills with the ability to network and build relationships.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
• Ability to solve problems by analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems.
• Ability to perform basic math, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
• Knowledge of new and emerging trends and technologies.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Manage conflict and tactfully handle complaints and difficult situations.
