Pertinent Information : Direct hire opportunity with a new plastics facility in the area. Non-automotive manufacturing facility. Working directly with the Plant Manager is the initial phases of plant launch. While role will have a focus on QC Admin, other administrative and planning functions will be part of the role. Ideal candidate is someone who has a firm grasp of QC but is versatile to support in other areas such as planning and back office administrative. Full details will be provided at time of interview.

Job Description
The Quality Administrator will support the Quality Department and Plant Manager in maintaining compliance with supplier and customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality management systems within a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate documentation, inspection recordkeeping, audit preparation, and quality data reporting to support consistent production of high-quality molded components.
Responsibilities to include the following :
- Maintain and control quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, control plans, and inspection standards.
- Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production
- Performing visual and functional quality checks on products, according to inspection specifications
- Ensure document revision control and proper distribution of updated documents.
- File and track in-process and final inspection reports for molded components.
- Compile and report quality KPIs (scrap rates, defect trends, on-time corrective actions).
- Prepare monthly quality performance summaries for management review.
- Communicate identified defects promptly to production and technical team and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution
- Handling supplier and customer complains in collaboration with the Sales Eepartment, Plant Manager and company’s global Quality Manager
- Administrative functions to support Plant Manager with day to day functioning of plant
- Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
- Preparing reports on production performance, including efficiency, consumption of raw materials or quality control
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Administration or related field.Minimum two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing quality or administrative role / Quality Admin / Plan Admin, etc.Experience in plastic injection molding environment preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Strong ERP experience.High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong documentation control skillsExcellent organizational and recordkeeping abilitiesAnalytical and detail-oriented mindsetEffective communication across departmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities
