We are currently looking for an electrician to join and manufacturing facility located in Cambridge.
The ideal person will have at least 3-4 years of experience working in a similar role.

Title : Industrial Electrician
Tickets required : Yes, 442a or a 309a
Shift : Straight Nights
Pay : $40 / hour + shift premium totaling $41 / h

Responsibilities
- Repair all electrical components of machines, including PLCs, changing motors, sensors, etc.
- Read electrical blueprints while trouble shooting, repairing or installing electrical equipment.
- Provide electrical building maintenance, including changing electrical plugs, ballasts, etc.
- Conduct new installations- i.e. electrical services
- Conduct electrical preventative maintenance
- Work with electrical contractors as required.
- Assist with bi-annual shut down and electrical repairs
- Diagnostic trouble shooting of electrical breakdowns
- Assist with inventory of electrical stores
- Practice and follow all applicable safety regulations, policies and procedures.
- Operate forklift / scissor lift as required
Qualifications
- 442a certification with a completed apprenticeship
- Can work up to 600 VAC
- Must have working knowledge of Allen Bradley / Siemens PLC
- Strong controls background
