Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you excel in fast-paced environments? If so, Red Deer Home Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for Seasonal Home Centre Associates to join our dynamic team.

Position : Seasonal Home Centre Associate

Term :   Temporary contract until approximately September 30, 2025.

Part-time :    24 – 36 hours per week.

Availability :   Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities :

  • Greet customers and respond to customer questions
  • Familiarize yourself with our product range
  • Stay updated on new product details to ensure comprehensive product knowledge
  • Cashier duties; Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions
  • Prepare special orders and manage inventory
  • Replenish shelves and contribute to inventory audits
  • Assist in merchandise displays
  • Perform sales calls with efficiency
  • Participate in tasks such as loading products
  • Working in the garden centre
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications :

  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
  • Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
