Director, School of Policy Studies and Stauffer‑Dunning Chair

The Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen’s University invites applications for a tenured faculty position (Associate or Full Professor) as Director of the School of Policy Studies and holder of the Stauffer‑Dunning Chair. The role focuses on teaching and research within public policy, including climate, culture, defense, economics, energy, health, and other policy areas. The preferred starting date is July 1, 2026 and the Chair and Directorship are for a five‑year renewable term.

Responsibilities

• Energize the School of Policy Studies and lead its strategic direction.
• Oversee a renewed Master of Public Administration program.
• Provide policy research and teaching leadership across the School.
• Engage in fundraising, advancement, and service to the School, Faculty, University, and broader community.
