Summary
The Electrical Apprentice is responsible for installing electrical components as per project drawings and specifications, wiring of electrical components and achieving their Certificate of Qualification. Learns on-the-job under the supervision of a journeyman electrician through both hands‑on projects and coursework in a classroom setting. Duties include basic cleaning and maintenance tasks, and progress to more skill‑based tasks as experience is gained.

Physical Demands
Almost continually verbally or orally communicating with others. Accurate hand / eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work may involve standing, stooping, bending, or sitting for long periods of time. May lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work under pressure and interact with others on a regular basis.
Work Environment
This is a manufacturing environment and will be exposed to elements such as loud noise, hazardous equipment, heat, dirt, dust, fumes, and other materials. Company safety standards must be always followed.
