Position Overview

We are seeking a GIS Technical Assistant to join our Distribution Design Department. Under the general direction of the Distribution Design Section Head, will coordinate and / or perform the administration, population, maintenance, storage, acceptance and dissemination of the associated eGIS databases of electrical and gas distribution facilities information and land base information for a defined area of the province and from this data will produce and maintain a wide variety of complex distribution related drawings. The majority of the work is to be done using the GE Smallworld Core and Design Manager software, AutoCAD, and H-Atlas. Will provide functional guidance to the local Engineering Group.

Salary Range

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $37.94-$52.52 Hourly, $72,703.54-$100,638.98 Annually.
