This role will be hybrid - 2 days in our Downtown Toronto office.
We're looking for a Market Reviewer for French Canada to join our International Tech Localization team. You will ensure that all the content in our platforms is localized and implemented in French with the highest quality. The role requires a high level of knowledge of native slang, phraseologies, and nuances in the language of expertise.
You will work in close partnership with fellow editors for other locales, vendor linguists, content designers, engineers, product managers, and various partner teams on all editorial aspects of our digital products. It involves maintaining linguistic accuracy, brand voice & tone consistency, and grammatical flawlessness to deliver a made-for-me shopping experience to customers in Canada.

M.A. in translation, linguistics, international / multilingual marketing, or similar field of study.
5+ years of relevant experience in software localization, QA testing, linguistic QA.
Demonstrated knowledge of internationalization and localization standards and best practices.
Experience in copywriting or editing in the language of expertise.
Excellent communication skills.
Design content that makes our ecommerce experience easy to use and understand.
Effectively show stakeholders when a problem needs more than a few words to be solved.Master the English language and know how to bend its rules to improve clarity for our users.
Make decisions about the content and other components of an experience using data and user research.
Conduct content reviews and align stakeholders with your sound rationale.
Collaborate effectively with peers in Product Design, Research, Product, Engineering, Accessibility, Marketing, and Compliance through the product development cycle.
Work with stakeholders to gather specific initiative requirements and create brief-like descriptions in Jira.
Ability to quickly explain the content needs on specific projects to other partners and estimate the time needed to successfully execute that work with integrity.
Apply accessibility standards in your content recommendations.
Write UI copy and contribute to flows in Figma.
Facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders to align teams when a need is identified.
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Content Design team.
Partner with the Localization team to ensure the highest quality of content adaptation of the product to different markets.
Manage ambiguity of the iterative process with multiple stakeholders.
Display up-to-date knowledge about UX best practices.
